Before your appointment:

You will be contacted by telephone to offer you an appointment with Professor Sheahan or Ms Nae.
If we cannot reach you by telephone, we will post you a letter with an appointment.
You will subsequently receive confirmation of your appointment by letter or email, as well as text reminder.

You may require an audiogram (hearing test) prior to your appointment, we will let you know if this is required in your case.

What to bring to your appointment:

You should bring the results of any scans or biopsies that may be relevant to your consultation, as
well as copies of any relevant letters which you may have. While your GP will usually send us copies
of all the results and letters at their disposal, sometimes these are not available to them.

Please also make sure to bring:

• Your private insurance details
• A complete list of your medications

Getting to your appointment / Directions

Our rooms are located on the first floor, Affidea Diagnostics, The Elysian, Eglinton St, Cork, T12 KTD1.

If coming from outside Cork, the most convenient way to reach us is by taking the Cork South Ring
(N40), and then exit onto the South Link (N27) towards the City Centre. This will bring you straight
onto Eglinton Street and the entrance to the Elysian Car Park.

Please note that the Consultant Rooms are located on the 1st floor.
Please take the stairs or elevator to the first floor.

When you reach the 1st floor you will see the signage for Cork ENT Medical Services / Professor
Patrick Sheahan / Ms Andreea Nae. Please check in with our secretary.
